We are a beacon that:

- Illuminates and reponds to the needs of our community.
Missions
- Lunch With Friends – meets every Wednesday at noon, all local people
are welcome to attend this time of fellowship. Volunteers to serve always
needed.
- Eleanor’s Pantry – Our church is a founding partner of this community
endeavor to care for area people in need. We have members in leadership
and volunteers to work at the pantry are welcome.
- Decatur Shelter – Cares for homeless women and children in crisis.
We help with maintenance projects and seek to develop relationships with
residents there.
- Fundraising Efforts – Concerts, dinners, and potlucks to raise funds
for special needs within the community.
- Habitat for Humanity – Church members participate in our county’s local
affiliate.
- Mission Trips – We occasionally travel to other parts of the country
to aide those in need. We also sometimes help at local places like Kalamazoo
Gospel Mission or Ministry with Community.
- Migrant Ministry – We host the Synod’s medical van that provides care
for migrant families.
- Restorative Justice – We’ve participated in the One Church One Offender
program which helps released inmates to integrate back into the community.
We also participate in the Michigan Prisoner Transition Initiative. We
also provide services at our local county jail.
- Angel Tree – This program provides support for the children of inmates
during the Christmas season.
- United Christian Services – We participate in an ecumenical group caring
for all those in need in east Van Buren County. We work to help with housing,
medical care, utilities, and transportation.
- We host community groups such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Paw Paw
Community Chorus, Tops, Rotary Club, PALS, and Paw Paw Library functions.
- We support Presbyterian denominational mission through our giving.
- The Mission Commission provides oversight for all of these programs.
